Great fun for the entire family!
During the 1600's and 1700's, Shelburne County was a Pirate Haven. Our fishing villages and coves were used as hideaways. Pirate " Ned Lowe" - the original "Jack Sparrow" of Pirates of The Caribbean fame - stopped in Shelburne Harbour and McNutts Island to " take some time off ". The harbours and coves of Shelburne County, for the Pirates of the Atlantic, were a place of rest and Holiday !!
Near the last of June this year, all the clues you'll need can be had for a 20 dollar bill if you can somehow prove you have pirate blood - or even a pirate "spirit". Pirates from the age of 16 and up can get their clues and "hunt er down" !! The first clues will all be given out to the Pirates at the same time and $1000 in gold loonies could be yours for the takin !! KEEP YOUR EYE GLASS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR UPDATES !! Be ready ye scurvy dogs tis on the morrow,of the 27th as the sun brightens the sky at 9:00 am ye must return to the Sea Dog with your clues for one more thing to enter and begin the hunt. A Pirate Breakfast will be served that mornin', if you've the mind - and $9.99 in your purse. If there be no treasure turning up by the the morn of June 28th , another clue will be had fer you mangy landlubbers ( designated pick up place will be announced ) !
Warning: The local constabulary will be on a close watch for scallyways who bee speedin' or drinkin' whilst on the roads - so me mindin' that you do this hunt safely!

In celebration of the Great South Coast TREASURE HUNT, we have commandeered the SEA DOG SALOON for his special Pirate Rendezvous for the weekend and will be providing the following entertainments:
- Special Pirate menu all weekend (including grog specials)
- Capt. Pike's Pirate breakfast on Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am
- Capt. Pike's Pirate Camp - all day Saturday
