Community Engagement

the social fabric of our communities and relationships

-Learn the principles of true community engagement and public

participation practice; grounded in the empowerment of citizens to

engage in collective action

-Skills based learning on listening, valuing, dialogue, and appreciative inquiry


October 18th

October 25th
Mental Health First Aid with instructor Kevin Grant, location Lockeport Beach Center

-One in three Canadians will experience a mental health problem at some point during their life. The earlier a problem is detected and treated, the better the outcome. Mental Health First Aid gives people the skills they need to provide that early help so important in recovery

-This workshop will provide an overview and examine the fundamentals involved in the St. John Ambulance Mental Health First Aid Course

 

All sessions 10:00 am – 1:00 pm includes networking lunch

Cost: $10.00 + HST or $40.00+HST for all sessions
