Welcome Reception for new Syrian Families in Shelburne
A loose coalition of community groups and individuals have organized a Community Reception for Shelburne's newest citizens - the Hendawi and Almanjar families - on Thursday, March 10 at 6:00pm at Shelburne Regional High School.
Everyone in the area is encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring finger foods to share.
The two families are sponsored by local community groups and arrived in the past month. They are living in homes in central Shelburne and the children of both familes are attending local schools.
