‘LOBSTER SPLASH’ RETURNS TO YARMOUTH for WINTER WONDERLAND

HOSTED BY YARMOUTH AREA RESTAURANTS FROM DECEMBER 10 TO 22

The Town of Yarmouth is coordinating a two week-long culinary extravaganza featuring that delectable crustacean, lobster, in all its wonderful forms.

Coordinated by local caterer and volunteer Madeleine Daues, Yarmouth citizens and visitors alike will be encouraged to support local eating establishments (and the all-important local lobster fishery) in the busy shopping week before Christmas. Souvenir Lobster Splash Passports will be distributed at the participating restaurants, which will feature signature seafood recipes from some of Yarmouth ’s top chefs – including a few decades-old family cooking secrets!

Daues has been in the food business in Yarmouth since 1996, with her Southwest Nova Catering Company. "Seems I've done catering all my life," the energetic Duaes told SCT. People are very excited about the lobster event and she is impressed with the effort that some of the local chefs have put into creating special recipes. "The pride that people take in being part of yarmouth always impresses me."
